Streamlining Your Communication with Affiance Financial

When Covid-19 closed businesses around the world, we felt immensely grateful that we could continue to do our work remotely, with little interruption. We had already been using Zoom with out-of-town clients for many years. Additionally, in the years leading up to Covid-19, we transitioned to a virtual desktop environment, which meant that we could access all of our planning tools and client files securely from anywhere with an internet connection.

The one area that was somewhat lacking during our transition to remote work was our corporate phone lines. Our corporate phone lines in 2020, were really nothing more than office phones, and had limited ability to support our remote work. As a determined small business, we did what we had to do. We pivoted to our personal cell phones for voice calling and forged ahead.

The Return of Our Corporate Phone Lines

Today, we are excited to share an important update regarding our communication channels here at Affiance Financial. We’ve recently completed an upgrade of our corporate phone system, allowing us to grow in a professional and compliant manner. With this upgrade we are simplifying and enhancing our communication with you.

One Number for Calling and Texting

Our upgraded phone system offers both remote access to voice calls and text messaging through our corporate phone lines. This enhancement aims to make connecting with Affiance Financial easier and more efficient by having one phone number for both voice and text communication. The upgraded phone system also enhances our ability to share communication as a team, so that we can work together to meet your needs in a timely and accurate fashion.

Maintaining Regulatory Compliance

In addition to improving convenience, this upgrade is also crucial for ensuring continued compliance with regulations set forth by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Using personal messaging platforms for business communication violates these important regulatory standards.
